saturday I ate 8 chicken soft tacos from tbell for lunch and then rotel cheese nachos for dinner, woke up and made biscuits and gravy for breakfast and then grabbed an 18” pizza from original pizza for lunch (dipped crusts in nacho cheese) followed by ben and jerry’s tonight dough.

really wanted to get the calories in before fasting

on Monday I ate at a real life Taco Tico, it was in Mason City, Iowa. I was going to get some Thai food and saw the Taco Tico and immediately changed my plans. I hadn't had it since like 1994. In high school me and a buddy would go on Wednesdays and both get the 10 for $5 and see who could eat the most. Then we would have cross country practice 3.5 hours later.

Every once in a while, I will pop into the Tico by my office and grab way too much food. Always feel like absolute crap afterwards, but it is so good when wolfing it down. Also, when my wife was pregnant with our first son she ate shitloads of Taco Tico from the place in Winfield.

I didn't get any sauce on the side, but it was delicious. I ate an entire 11 inch pizza by myself.

speaking of, last night I was making some of that frozen philly steak that you can get from costco. well, guess what I didn't plan for...NO BREAD! also...NO RICE! but, guess what I did have...potato chips. So I had philly beef on potato chips with some bbq sauce. tres bien mucho gusto bonjour.

When I make Phillys at home I have the Dillons meat guys shave a bunch of sirloin for me. I found a marinade online that is pretty great.

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 tsp EACH garlic pwdr, onion pwdr, dried thyme, dried parsley
1/4 tsp EACH pepper, red pepper flakes

I usually use a little more vinegar and it works best if you let it sit for half a day or so in the fridge.

i have been seeing those at costco and wondered if they were tres bien mucho gusto bonjour, can’t wait to buy a million pounds
