Finally made it to Cosmo Burger in Waldo last night. It was pretty delish. Had a double and pretty much finished the giant bag of tots they give you. I left one to make myself feel better. That and a couple Goliath beers and my tummy is a bit rumbly today.

Went to McDs as I often do after happy hours with inadequate food. Got some free fryday fries and decided to try the “McPlant” since it’s Lent and I never really liked the fillet-o-fish.

Review: Tastes like a crappy freezer burned burger, and I mean that mostly in a good way. Texture was very nearly there, although it was a bit too easy to bite through. The grilled flavor was mostly there. The patty itself was pretty bland. Basically, I think you could mistake it for a burger, but not in a flattering way.

I also had the McPlant this week, out of curiosity. I mostly agree with your take. I also noticed that I was mostly tasting the condiments slathered on there. Very little taste of the patty. Will not be trying again.

I was stunned when I saw the nutritional facts of an impossible whopper compared to a regular whopper, everything was almost exactly the same other than the sodium and the sodium of the fake burger was significantly higher
