Here's the thing. Which is easier to fix: forcing/coercing/cajoling people to get a shot or tackle how fat most people in America are?

Yes the US pop sucks at taking care of itself, which makes it laughable to propose that as any kind of solution in the face of a public health crisis. You might as well tell California to have fewer trees made of wood to avoid wildfires.
That’s probably the worst example you could’ve come up with. They don’t do controlled burns and literally just push dead crap to the ground and do nothing with it

Both of those seem like much more effective short term solutions than doing nothing so I’m not sure what you think is the disconnect here.

it's a weird turn of events in this pandemic. we shut all that down first time because too many sick people needing the hospital now they shut down schools, hospitals, restaurants, etc because not enough people to run the places.

Luckily this looks to be running through us like a bad meal in Mexico.
