How easy is it to get a work visa or whatever you'd need to visit there during covid? Trim reporting from Austrailia similarly to Felix Rex's Egypt thread would be pretty fun tbh. I'd seriously entertain visiting to experience it myself.

I see conflicting info on who can go there at all or without quarantining and without some local connection or important reason to be there. But the main problem is just how difficult it is to get there. The only flight I ever plan to take my dog on is one of the little seaplanes to the close ictoria and on which she'd have her own human seat. No chance she'll go in cargo for 12 hours. And the boat options are 18-day covid-spreading cruise ships. Gonna have to just support austrailia from afar for now. Maybe find the least gross outback steakhouse?
