If a poll affirms our beliefs then all respondents were truthful (#blueanonGe).

People just lie to polls is certainly an interesting tactic to take when faced with any poll results that don't align with your beliefs built on Facebook feeds and fox news talking points.

The most surprising demographic to me was 18 to 34 being higher than 35 to 49 but it's almost within the error rate.

What would happen to government school funding if they required COVID vaccinations and nearly half of all students did not return?

Nearly half of parents said in a new poll that they wouldn’t send their kids for in-person teaching if schools required COVID-19 vaccination.

A Morning Consult poll conducted Sept. 1-5 with a sample of 493 parents of children ages 5 to 18 found that 43% of parents said they wouldn’t let their kids go back to school if COVID vaccinations were required to return

As of 8/18 in CA, AL, NY, CO there are a combined 13.5 million (as in not a single dose) unvaccinated African Americans/Hispanics.   20% of the total population, not a single dose.

For California alone, that demographic comprises 25% of the population, completely unvaccinated as of 8/18.

In NY State 6 in 10 African Americans had not received a single dose of the vaccine as of 8/18.  That’s 1.6 million completely unvaccinated people just in that demographic alone.  Another 1.6 million completely unvaccinated in the Hispanic demographic in NY State.

In Colorado as of 8/18 only 3 in 10 Hispanics had been vaccinated. 850k completely unvaccinated people in that demographic.  16% of the population of the state.

That’s compiled by those racists at the CDC/KFF.

I realize for the #blueanon feeble brained hyper partisan dimwits that discussing this is racist.

This is why it’s hilarious to read the usual suspects continually say that this issue solely resides on the back of white conservatives.

There are multiple polls that indicate maga is anti vax, not just NBC.

The top 20 counties in hospitalizations and the least vaxxed went trump

There are scores of clips of conservative preachers, radio guys and grifters who are all maga and they are anti vax.

He got goddam boo'd at his own little rally for promoting the vax.

at some point the evidence is what it is.

don't get me wrong, there are definitely some hippie-liberal type anti vaxxers out there (I have an aunt and uncle who fall in this camp). but there are definitely way more magas

Alanis Morrisette  :frown:

I think anti-vax was a lib thing and then MAGA stole it from them

Somethig to this.  Still amazed they boo'd trump and implied he was an overweight idiot and implied that he had just shat himself right there on stage.  It was amaze.

I didn’t give it a lot of thought.  Either way, I think democrats would amend the way funding works if it became problematic.  Like, you could just give states funding based on the number of children in that state instead of basing it off of actual enrollment, something along those lines.

Tens of Millions of non MAGA not even getting their first shot yet . . . gotta be all MAGA, tho (SlowDug and his fellow #blueanonGe)

CDC doesn't even know the pertinent demographic information relative to this discussion of tens of millions of vax recipients, including no pertinent information of that type from 8 states.

a poll being in the field for a short time is good, you don't want it out for a long time because you want to know when you are measuring whatever you're measuring.

1000 is a very good, robust sample, but the sample size for most of the subgroups is much less than that and accordingly they would have pretty large margins of error.  for example it looks like they had about 130 black respondents, which is pretty low.  for some of the other subgroups, it's ridiculously low, and frankly shouldn't have even been reported.

Most K-12 funding comes from the states themselves.

Hopefully the recent justices appointed by Trump will help find this executive order unconstitutional.
