One more thing. This gentlemen's wife contended he didn't get the vaccine because he "got COVID in November." I've said this before and I'll say it loud for those who keep doing this. We need to stop acting like getting COVID is a credible substitute for getting vaccinated and we definitely shouldn't be using estimates, I don't give a eff where they are from, to give people a false sense of security about how supposedly close we are to some magical unicorn herd immunity.

This bullshit thinking will continue to get people killed. Get the rough ridin' shot. Tell the people you love and the people you hate to get the rough ridin' shot, no goddamned shortcuts.

The gentleman who posted this on his Facebook page last month died of COVID on Thursday.

Of course he was unvaccinated. He left behind a wife and two young daughters. His wife has posted five times since he became critical and subsequently died. She didn't encourage anyone reading to get vaccinated. Those 5 posts have approximately 800 posts, one of them mentioned vaccination and it wasn't encouraging anyone to get the jab. Literally hundreds of these posts talk about God or prayers.

The widow had a post today saying the mother of her best friend has now been hospitalized with COVID. She asked that everyone honor her husband and her friends mother, not by getting vaccinated but by praying, some of the comments are literal prayers.

Do we have a clergy problem? Can this be fixed by religious leaders coming out with a strong pro-vaccine message. Yes, I know some religions are very much against vaccines, but that isn't the case for most Catholics and Protestants.

We have a dumbass MAGA problem, and, to be honest, we're totally mumped and can't fix it. It rough ridin' SUCKS big time.

It's not just them, they're the only ones comfortable being loudly ignorant, although whiny southern NFL players are starting to give them a run for their money.

Yep, it’s just the damn MAGA’s not getting vaccinated.  Looks at highest vaccine hesitancy demographics . . .

California, huge MAGA stronghold, still 20 million non fully vaccinated, and at least 16 million not vaccinated at all.

Read something yesterday that we are about 12 days away from high tide on it burning through the great unvaxxed MAGA hoard and we should crest similar to what the UK has. Hope that is accurate.

LOL at Steve Dave, California also has some of the, if not the highest populations of non MAGA vaccine hesitancy demographics in the country.

Goodness.

Anecdotally, I am at a hospital with a family member and overheard employees discussing current covid patients. Said number is highest since May and average age is around 30.

More folks have been vaccinated in California than the entire population of any state but Texas. It's a big state!

Who cares, there's still 16 million unvaccinated (completely unvaccinated) people roaming around California.

Black/Hispanic accounts for 1/3 of U.S. population and collectively that demographic is a full 10 percentage points behind White's in vaccination rate by population.

Full of MAGAS!! (Resident CoronaBro Dorks)

What % of resident CoronaBro Dork posts blame MAGA for everything?

In California Blacks/Hispanics trail Whites by a combined 15% in the fully vaccinated category.    That demographic accounts for over 40% of the population of California.

California if full of MAGA's! (SteveDave the CrackerBelter)

The Orange Mane is Suspending Operations

Hello All -

It's with great regret that I inform this community that this site will be closing within 48 hours. I have been threatened with "Consumer Action in Superior Court" due to allowing people to freely debate COVID-19 in the WRP forum. Clearly, this site cannot operate the way it has for the last 20 years in the era of COVID-19. I'm not going to get into the details here, but I'm just a guy with a hobby horse site, and I can't afford to put my family at further risk because COVID Nazis want to force people to take their experimental treatments.

I'll give everybody a chance to collect their things and say their goodbyes. This is not how I wanted it to end. I never imagined we'd get to this place in society, but I cant afford the risk any longer.

I am targeting Wednesday morning at 12am PST to pull the plug.

Best luck to you all.

TJ
