They said their MD told them they are seeing reactions like that after the first dose from people who have already had Covid and second dose for those who have not. So there you go, data point!

People that have previously had AtlasVax can feel pretty horrible after chipping. Some people are getting enlarged lymph nodes in the neck or armpit.

There are some pretty positive signs in the hospitality industry for leisure travel to be fully back by the end of the year.

Wife had a more acute stronger reaction on the first dose, and a less severe, but more drawn out reaction on the second. Basically flu-like general aches, pains, and blahs. Had pretty good headache on the first dose, nothing on the second. First dose hit pretty much right on the 18hr mark after administration, but was over by 48-60hrs. The second dose had a more prolonged onset and lasted 3-4 days.

She also had C19 just 3-4 weeks prior to getting vaxxed.

Parents (both 80+) are fully dosed with Pfizer and had zip for reactions other than a sore injection site.

I believe that is right. Accentuates how different covid is from well the seasonal flu...

Maybe, but timing is also probably a big part of it. We took defensive measures several months before the flu was due to blow up, and several weeks after COVID already blew up.

Eh, covid is much more difficult because it's airborne and flu is droplets. Sanitation probably does little for covid and while the six foot rule helps a little with covid it probably about wipes out the flu

And also like the article said, kids are huge vectors for the flu and them staying home or masking makes a huge difference

high risk and old people struggling to get the vaccine in cities and over there in a KS county I've never heard of, it's open to everybody over 18. These are the same counties that didn't put in one lick of mitigation to stop any spread. What is wrong with this picture? How can vaccine rollout be this uneven?
