And the sign said "Unchipped MAGA people need not apply"
So I pulled my hood up over my hat and went in to ask him why
God damn that is perfect

I think 1% of each state's chip supply should be given to random residents.  Make it fun and let everybody feel like they have a shot at getting an early chip.

Contagion!

I've not seen it, little too on the nose for me right now.  Is this idea in there?  I assume it went smashingly well.

I watched it as we were settling into COVID. Highly recommend.

Ya, I think they randomly selected birthdays and people with that birth date received the vaccine.
Social security numbers.
Facebook and twitter could find users that have been PI'ing hoaxers on their platforms and reward them with a chip???

It’s kind of weird that the vaccine has such low support among republicans when trump has been pro vaccine the entire time.  I know a lot of republicans don’t like trump but I don’t feel like that’s the group refusing the vaccine.  Anyways, it’s disappointing bc high risk groups like newborns can’t get vaxxed for awhile (I thought they loved babies??)

Are newborns considered high risk? I thought there was maybe some speculation but never heard anything firm on that.

I don't believe so. anecdotally my new nephew's mom and dad (my bro) were both symptomatic about a week after he was born. obviously never tested him but he didn't show symptoms or anything. assume some breast milk immunity is being transferred there or some science thing?

something I learned this week about pregnant women with covid is that they are inducing covid+ mothers early because they've seen pregnancy termination near full term, I think due to blood clots. I don't remember the medical terms but a NICU nurse friend of my wife knows of at least two cases at her hospital where they lost the baby because of it.

I think he has been pretty quiet about it because he realized the anti-vaxxer section of his base are the most likely to still think he won and there was widespread election fraud so he needs to keep them onboard the crazy ship, if only to keep grifting them to pay down his debt that's patiently waiting for him on the other side of inauguration day

My family facebook trues this up by saying they trust Trump but not the deep state FDA forcing it on us.

Maybe they should've ordered more vaccines from Pfizer  :dunno:

That's not the point Bucket . . . good rough ridin' grief.

But  yeah, let's order millions more of the most logistically challenging vaccine.

I mean the whole thing could have been avoided instead of making vaccine makers cancel agreements with other countries, our allies. Our administration is too inept so let's make everyone else pay. America!

The pfizer logistics don't see that tough relative to the benefits of getting their chip implanted in ever-y-one.

So in your world there's an unlimited production capacity.  Check-Got it

We've talked about this already Bucket, it's just a shame you weren't paying attention.

What type of vaccines have a greater ability to ramp up production capacity faster, Trim?

You'll need to get two Pfizer chips.

Folks getting their chips in KS within the week?

Quote
Morning!
Last night, the FDA vaccine advisory panel voted in favor of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use authorization (EUA) for people 16 and older. We expect the FDA to approve the advisory panel’s decision over the weekend. From listening to calls and other sources, we believe the Moderna vaccine will be approved by the end of the year as well. There is a large push for distribution and administration of this vaccine to healthcare personnel and long term care residents. Please be assured, --------- will not make it mandatory for any team member to receive these COVID-19 vaccines.

The distribution of these vaccines is still unclear. Here is what we know:

 ·   The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) anticipates over 23,000 Pfizer vaccine doses will be shipped to Kansas next week. KDHE has identified five pre-position sites in Kansas, including KDHE, for the initial Pfizer vaccine shipment. Pre-position sites will store the vaccine to be redistributed by KDHE to other high priority healthcare populations in Kansas within days of vaccine arrival. Pre-position sites will retain a vaccine dose allotment as designated by KDHE to administer to healthcare personnel at high risk of exposure to COVID-19 in their facility.

 ·       KDHE Immunization Program staff will begin contacting hospitals like ____ early next week to provide vaccine allocation numbers and anticipated delivery date and time. Vaccine distribution to hospitals is expected by the end of next week. At this time, we have no idea how many vaccines KDHE will provide ____, if any.

 ·       KDHE anticipates that an initial supply of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine could be received by late December. KDHE is estimating that 150,000 doses of the vaccine in total, between both Pfizer’s and Moderna’s vaccines, will be received in Kansas before the end of the year.

 ·       ---- has been approved to administer these COVID-19 vaccines by the CDC.

Have a great Friday! We will try to keep you in the loop as we receive more information.
