I know there has been discussion that a lot of the spread is at home but folks say that's an excuse for state and local elected officials to not be the ones to shut down bars and restaurants. And I don't blame them for not wanting to if they can't give them the money they need to survive shutting down.

So, I have seen some pretty widespread mask compliance in KC, MO and they are shattering records.

non existent in joco, people wear them to the grocery store, shopping etc, bars/restaurants are packed, people are having house parties/bday's/halloween/homecoming etc.

5800 new cases in Kansas since Monday per worldometers. Lots of hospital staff and nurses sick and even hospitalized. We are heading toward a mass casualty situation over the next 4-6 weeks.

yes, crap is very bad all over the country and getting worse fast. today's figures should be up soon but here are yesterdays. We've blown past our previous high for hospitalizations and deaths are doing their expected lag lift off as we speak.

and when you zoom into states you can see we have 5 states with more cases per capita than any country in the world (Czech Republic is the highest). Illinois almost there.
