Lol, more people?  Every medical, research university, government lab, drug company and research center on the planet has been looking at this virus, Phil.     Right here in town multiple entities are doing Covid-19 research and UAB has its own vaccine development going on.

The Federal Government had already placed an order for up to 600 million doses. 

$2 billion dollars already committed to Pfizer. 

They didn’t want to take any money from WARP speed because that means having people like Tony Fauci sticking their nose in.  Fauci has been known to play favorites.
