We're now going on 4 months of hearing this as an excuse, I've yet to see the data to back it up. It's going to be very hard to account for 14% of the population having 3X the number of deaths because of "CITIES!" It's a very convenient excuse, especially given that 80% of all Americans live in metropolitan areas.

I'll disagree. In a month schools are going to start to open and if these schools do in fact open that surge will be much worse than what we're experiencing now. There will be literally millions of people who have been distancing that will be forced to send their kids into the world only to come back home everyday. The reason why this surge has skewed younger is because older people are staying home and keeping their kids home. My next post is going to illustrate on a smaller scale what happens when you don't keep your kids at home.

My lovely state of Iowa, population of 3.15 million has 739 deaths. We didn't close, the governor refuses to allow local governments to mandate public mask wearing or any kind. All restaurants and bars have the ability to open to full capacity. The state department of education offered no guidance for schools in the fall. We also restarted youth and high school summer sports. Iowa, Arkansas, and South Dakota are the closest places you can get to what life looked like in February.

Arkansas population of 3.0 million, they have an absurd 810 deaths.
South Dakota has a population of 880,000 (damn, no one lives there at all) 98 deaths.

These MAGA governors are killing people.

That was obvious in reading his piece.  Does it make his analysis way off?

It makes me doubt everything he says. Especially combined with clicking on one link and it didn't say what he said it said. Not worth taking seriously enough to even dismiss it.
