Yet other countries response was to essentially not do much and they're approaching being on the backside.

But I realize we're dealing with people who take every countries proclamations at face value.

I view some of the information out of Taiwan (for example) to be every bit as propaganda laden as that coming out of CCP China.

If you don't understand why this is, then you're really not a thinking person and haven't been paying attention.

You guys are the shittiest liberals on the planet. When do you get off your high horses and actually start caring about humanity in general.

Most of you hate Trump more than you love the well being of fellow man.

What is Trump asking us to do that we're not doing?

Only the most important part of it all....

UNDERSTAND THAT THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA IS LYING TO YOU TO PROMOTE AN AGENDA THAT DOES NOT SERVE YOU.

(Hence why I called you shitty liberals and WHY I'm embarrassed to be a lefty)

I suppose Sweden is one but I'm not convinced they're in the clear (or won't have a wrecked economy like the rest of the world). any others who have essentially not done much but are in the clear?

However honestly if our the actions other than lockdown amount to waiting for a vaccine I'd definitely prefer the Sweden approach. whatever.

Also, I'm sure that there are some predominantly white countries that you trust the results from like New Zealand, Australia, and Germany.

the thing about this is we're still doing "lockdowns". Which is definitely doing something about it but really just enough to stop ICU's from getting overrun while pissing everyone off. And the economy's going to be just as shitty for years because we aren't doing anything other than fairly loose lockdowns and waiting for a vaccine.

I would equate what we are doing with giving a school a resource officer and having the occasional school shooter drill.

Actually cRusty, I've already discussed Germany multiple times.

It's just a crying shame that you try so hard . . . your constant comments of this type only show what a total downgrade you can be.

Looking forward to the @DQ12 Tuesday covid deaths compared to last tuesday. One of my fave updates itt.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Germany clearly started testing sooner and at a higher rate than we did

It was in reference to you not trusting results from Vietnam, Taiwan, Korea, and other Asian countries when trying to learn what a successful response to the virus looks like. I thought you might trust results from predominantly white countries so we can try to emulate their success.

The President of Tanzia was suspicious of the quality of test kits for Covid, so he sent in samples of a fruit, goat, and a sheep, with human names and ages to be tested. The paw paw fruit and the goat tested positive.

these rough ridin' clowns

The document alleges that the team responsible for PPE had little success in helping the government secure such equipment, in part because none of the team's members had significant experience in health care, procurement or supply-chain operations. In addition, none of the volunteers had existing relationships with manufacturers or a clear understanding of customs requirements or Food and Drug Administration rules, according to the complaint and two senior administration officials.

Quote
The team of volunteers focused on PPE had trouble developing manufacturer relationships and making inroads with brokers, in part because they were using personal email accounts, rather than official government email addresses, the House Oversight Committee complaint states. Three senior administration officials confirmed the volunteers' use of personal email addresses.

In addition to the already challenging circumstances, the complaint also says that on some of the teams, "minimal attempts at social distancing are taken."
