if you look at the mountain west states, they all have infection clusters in the ski areas.

Duh, super rich people travel a lot and are around other super rich people who travel a lot. And they’re also rich! So... tests!

Edit: they also have a lot of ancillary people around them so they don’t have to do work. These people also increase their chances to get infected.

I have become convinced it is less access to testing and more likelihood of (1) being a doctor, (2) travel to international/high risk areas, or (3) association/contact with someone from those areas.  Given how limited testing has been starting out, I think a large proportion of the tests have been to people known to have contact with other positive cases.

There were supposed to be 30M tests available by today according to our leaders a few weeks ago.

Without testing we are just spinning our freaking wheels.  Simply amazing.
