It really depends on how old you are. If you are over 65, there is a 1/100 chance you have already died from it.

A problem with the 1/1,333 is that communities have lots more than 1,1333 people and thus many more than 1 extra needing its hospital(s), and that kind of fucks up the flow of health care hospitals that are still needed for every other illness and injury that didn’t go away.

Tbh my takeaway is there appears to be no known uptick among vaxxed hospitalizations due to Omicron variant even though there definitely has been an uptick in cases. Obviously newer data would be better but I’m pretty sure there were rising vaxxed cases at least in November.

2500 flights cancelled today.  That said by the time they would actually put it in place I don't think it would add much value.
