Today we instituted a policy that coming to the office or job site requires either vax or negative rapid test from the testing center down the street.

i'm not a big fan of companies offering incentives not to vaccinate.

My work started with an “only come into the office if you’re vaccinated” and pretty quickly moved to “only come to work events if you’re vaccinated.” So I think it didn’t take them long to realize that missing out on free food and booze is a much better motivator.

Are they asking for some proof of vaccination or is it on your honor?

We had to upload a photo of our vaccine card to some website after we received both injections.

I was thinking about this and I get my hometown newspaper delivered (thanks mom!) and there was like ZERO debate about masks this school year because it was like duh no masks.

I did learn from the local paper that school buses are considered public transportation and there is a federal requirement to wear masks on public transportation. The school board mentioned that other districts were sending letters questioning that interpretation so that was also something our district was going to do. (you know the important stuff).

They also made sure to ban critical race theory, I think in the same meeting! Again, it did not appear to be debated whatsoever.

Another one for the idiocracy file. Antivaxxers shutting down vaccination sites. Absolutely disgusting.

Wearing a mask is definitely more uncomfortable and annoying than not wearing a mask and it's one of many things about this once-in-a-century global pandemic.

Vaccines are not political but myself and the rest of #blueanonGe are going to incessantly talk about what they think is the political persuasion of those that aren't getting the vax and when someone brings up the lagging vax rates in likely non MAGA populations I and the rest of #blueanonGe will get super triggered (Phil "it's not about politics, but it's always about politics" Titola)

FYI:  The CDC doesn't even know the race of tens of millions of people who have received the vax, but suffice it say, in #blueanonGe world, none of those unknown vax recipients are conservatives.

As you know, I’m Team Moderna and I tell all my friends and family to get Moderna chips if they have a chance but we need to know if higher antibodies levels actually translate into patient-oriented outcomes like less missed work, less days in hospital, less death vs other vaccines.
