haven't read the bill, but i don't have any problem with it as outlined here. requiring vaccinated people to wear masks for the benefit of people too stupid to vaccinate themselves is untenable and unjust.

I don't have a problem with dropping the current mandate. My issue with the bill is that if something were to come about that somehow rendered the vaccines ineffective, this bill would make it impossible for the government to put a new mandate in place.

Sure. Between the 4 most populous states in the country there’s 50 million non fully vaccinated people. 2 of which are generational Lib strongholds. But let’s meltdown about some small state vaccination rates.

As the CDC clearly said last month. The vaccine hesitancy rate is highest in a non MAGA age demographic and the combined black/Hispanic rate is a full 10 percentage points behind Whites nationwide. That group accounts for 100 million people.
