You can impeach someone who longer holds office?

Yes

Lets do Don and Hilary at the same time
I would be in favor of impeaching all the living presidents and then executing them on the mall.
Even Jimmy Carter?

Jimmy has done a lot to redeem himself post-presidency, but I’ll let the lord sort em. I mean he’s almost dead anyways.

It's sad that is news. Isn't this how they should all vote for everything?

IMO they should vote based on the pressure of their constituents but that's a bit of an oversimplification.

In my fan fiction, people would vote based on the representative’s conscience and then the representative would apply it to everything.

Steny Hoyer (D) now fully affirming on the floor of Congress that ProgFascists are in total lock step and fully assimilated with the Dick Cheney NeoCon wing of politics.

Thank you Steny for doting the i's and crossing the t's on the Congressional transcript (and beyond mere legislation alone) relative to this reality.

Look what happened to Ted cruz when he told the republican covention'rs to vote their conscience. He was working phone banks for trump 2 months later.

It would be gratifying to throw Trump out. Hopefully, this makes it easier to convict.

10 Republicans voted to impeach.

Wonder how many didn't vote yes because they truly fear for their own and family's lives.

Probably another 10-15.

No way they get even close to the amount of votes needed in the Senate.

Were there any Dems who didn't vote to impeach?

If so, I can only imagine the onslaught of outrage they're going to face from ProgFascistNeoCon Nation.

Probably be deplatformed across the entire spectrum of politics, sustenance, livelihood and financial/monetary participation.   Certainly death threats.

What I described is just BAU for ProgFascistNeoCon nation, apparently you haven't been paying close attention to your orders or the news.

I definitely wouldn't say no way. If McConnell really thinks it's best for the party to make a break from Trump as reported, they'll convict.

Nothing is confirmed.  So anyone saying it’s made up doesn’t have the first rough ridin' clue if it is or not.
