Dax will go ballistic over this. Look how fixated he has been on the "post election flexibility" hot mic moment by another president.

dax - Hey, "take her out" just means do it in a public setting just like when Bob Sugar fired Jerry Maguire.

I know when I want to fire someone that I can pick up the phone and immediately fire, I'll usually put that person under surveillance and fabricate a smear campaign against them first.

does any one see a scenario in which Trump gets removed from office after this thing goes to a vote? It still feels highly unlikely to me however it feels the tide has turned maybe a little.

Only if Bolton actually testifies and actually has some bombshell information, even then I think republican voters (so by extention republican senators) are OK with trump doing literally whatever he wants because they feel Hillary and Obama were literally demons.

The only possible scenario is if they allow witnesses and one of them drops a huge bombshell. At this point, I don’t see them allowing witnesses or additional documents.

So Ambassadors don't serve at the pleasure of the President now?

When did this change happen?

“We were supposed to share this information during a working trip to the United States,” Kulyk told me in a wide-ranging interview. “However, the [U.S.] ambassador blocked us from obtaining a visa. She didn’t explicitly deny our visa, but also didn’t give it to us.”

Apparently ambassadors are threatened, surveilled, and publicly smeared at the pleasure of the president as well. Just how Washington works.

I would expect nothing less than for you to believe every accusation (of the thousands) leveled by LibBots at this administration.    Hell, an outright fabricated lie about an "overheard" conversation was Tweeted around the universe just yesterday.

But ya know what's not made up about political spying?   LibBot Hero and known communist John Brennan and the CIA spying on Congress.  Or the NSA spying on journalists or the leaders of our NATO allies.   You LibBots fully supported surveillance nation just as long as it was your guy doing it.

So it seems really weird you'd be mad about this alleged spying on the clearly very corrupt former U.S. ambassador to the Ukraine.

Any thoughts on why the (former) Ambassador was so corrupt or what she was covering up, Lib?

Why did she not grant the visa’s? Just seems weird for a political movement that advocates just showing up at the border and it’s all good.

They should have just hopped across the Rio Grande.

Well, if there's any movement that can spot a vast winged conspiracy, it's the movement that was home to the greatest spotter of vast winged conspiracies in American political history.

Sad

If I’m Mike Pence I find a way to leak some damning crap to the right people.  He can snatch power for a fleeting moment.

He's guilty, but Republicans don't find seeking foreign influence on elections impeachable. Sad.

I don't think it's a big surprise that this is a contest of political power to the detriment of the US Constitution. It's being treated like toilet paper and I don't think there's much of a loss felt about it tbh

Ya, blows my mind. I guess that America thing wasn't that big of a deal afterall.
