Gabbard. Bernie if/when she quits. Then Yang. None of the others.

LMAO at that being your top 3 then rejecting everyone else

All the rest are garbage imo.

honest question: are you a single issue (have they been on joe rogan) voter?

No, funny coincidence tho.  Main issue is reigning in war profiteering and protecting civil liberties. Obv very anti establishment as well.

I don't get supporting Bernie but not Warren. I see them as very similar, with Warren having the advantage of not being quite as old, but still being way too old to be the ideal candidate for me.

I think Warren is fake. Great speaker and great organizer tho.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

sys, I screwed up your poll again. I voted Warren based on my comment and should have abstained.

i'll adjust totals for voter fraud and any other issues after voting closes.

it doesn't matter for the poll, but it certainly speaks well of your character and taste.

I guess because to me it seems like Sanders is still fighting the same fight he has been for decades. He seems to have a lot of conviction and a true mission to help working and middle class Americans. He’s an outsider, and one I don’t think the DNC is too fond of.

I can’t say the same for Warren. I think she’s taken a lot of Sanders’ platforms and kinda tried to make them her own, because that’s what a decent amount of voters want to hear. It also concerns me that the DNC and mainstream dems are embracing/ pushing her as the progressive alternative. It’s like they know she’ll fall in line when push comes to shove.

Obviously, just my opinion — semi-educated. Who knows, if Warren is the nominee, I may vote for her over Trump, but she’ll have to convince me.

I’ll say again that I’m always impressed when she’s on stage or rallying a crowd. She’s super smart no doubt.

I think Warren is gonna win the nom tho. I think that’s been the DNC plan since Biden started talking gibberish.

Warren is really rough ridin' smart and accomplished. Dont know if that translates to being the best President, but no one can argue her bona fides.

I believe Warren will win the primary and I guess I will vote for her in the general. I’ll probably vote for that awful Walsh guy in the primary unless some hero moderate pub congressperson steps up.

I would vote for the police if the election were today.

I am constantly questioning my dislike of her because every black woman over 50 in America loves her like Dax loves MAGA.

Figured it out, I'll get a ballot and will be able to vote for anyone in the primary but to vote for a democrat or a republican will require me to say I'm a democrat or a republican and that info going to the parties and them sending me mail and calling me.  I'll only do that if it's looking like a close call between a normal and a weirdo.

Yeah, I have no interest in declaring a party so I don't do primaries

Iowa lets you do it when you report to the caucus then you can change back right after. I am a democrat 1 day every 4 or 8 years.

You know you're my guy and have been for a very long time. I see you trying, futilely, to do so, but there is no rational justification for this, it's batshit crazy. You've picked three candidates all over the place on the left side of the spectrum. Completely disregarding the fact that Elizabeth Warren is essentially the exact same thing as Bernie Sanders, just in more electable packaging, I don't know how you with an informed view can distinguish Sanders from Castro. Gabbard, for all of her posturing with the police, isn't different from her hardly at all, nor Booker, nor Biden, especially how they would govern if elected. Her policy positions are just as establishment as everyone else. It isn't like she is going to get elected then throw open the jail cell doors to everyone who has had a drug conviction.

When you split hairs with a hatchet, you end up making wild, foolish, nonsensical, distinctions. Aren't you a democrat anyway?

MIR-

I don't have a ton of time for this but nicname very rightly ID'd a real issue. Warren was a Republican until she was quite a bit older than I am now. She is not exactly crystal clear on whether there is daylight between Bernie and her on Medicare for All and nic is absolutely correct that given the choice, the DNC would deal with Warren but is absolutely dead set against Bernie. There are obvious downsides to this for Bernie (they are basically all that get talked about) but the upside is no one is worried Bernie doesn't mean what he says.

I certainly think Warren is a decent back up plan and am pretty happy that polling suggests that Bernie/Warren have a pretty good share of the democratic primary locked down. I just think that Warren has a ton of very apparent weaknesses as a candidate if electability is the only difference you really see between her and Bernie (and that can't be right, because they are still pretty different on policy!)

I disagree with people calling out political evolving as a negative. I certainly have different views now than I did 10 years ago. We grow from our experiences.
