My 89 year old grandpa hit a hole in one last week. Think it was his 5th.

holy crap grandpa must golf a lot
Lol, yes. I’m guessing his average is around 200 rounds per year over the last 30 years

I've been playing alot of golf this summer and actually practicing putting/short chips.

Almost broke 90 at St Andrews (OP, not UK) the other day. I'll pretty much be on the tour if I keep improving at this rate.

Going from averaging 3 putts to 2 putts is definitely the easiest way to drop your score quickly.

I chipped in for eagle from 65 yards out today.  I might never get a hole in one so I just wanted to tell you guys.

Nice! Did you get to see it go in? I wedged in for eagle from about 125yds a couple of years ago but it was uphill so we didn't know where my ball was until we looked in the hole.

Just got done playing 18 at Tiffany Springs up by MCI and shot a 101, woof.

The good part was I played with my buddy and some of his clients so I didn't have to pay anything.

The bad part was they play the back tees because they are good so I played it with them and they all beat me by 15ish strokes.

Great course though, would play again.

Nope, it was an elevated green. My son ran up and looked after I hit because we knew it was going right at it. My son getting excited about golf within the last couple years has been great.

the very first time I golfed in my entire life I hit a 5 wood (lmao) at number 2 at the Meade Country Club course and hit the pin, ended up about 4 inches from the hole. based on this data only I can say holes in one are mega pud.

I remember my first hole in one. Looked like the ball was going to be knocked off course by the windmill blade but missed it by inches.
