Maybe Karl and Karla were just saving their disposable income to head down to beautiful memphis tn for the liberty bowl? With interest rates going up i'm sure the affordable "adjustable" rate on Karla's Jeep Wagoneer is a drag on their finances as well.

I do agree that the KU student body does not have anything of note in their memories about Indiana...too young for that.  However, Indiana was a ranked team coming into the game.
