I saw that map yesterday, and the only thing that was truly obvious was New Mexico. What's up with Mississippi?

They don't know who Truman is, let alone who Oppenheimer is.

My post did not include the word "they." I did pose a question: "What's up with Mississippi?"

In response to my question, Rage replied, "They (Mississippians) don't know who Truman is, let alone who Oppenheimer is." Everyone here understood it except for you, idiot. Really, it doesn't make sense any other way.

Everyone also understood why I was not surprised to see New Mexicans as being most interested in Oppenheimer.

....on my quarterly review..... I bring up our corporate surveys where company is slipping in DEI scores. I hint to her that I scored the company low on DEI but not for same reasons most people would think - but because of over emphasis on hiring people based on factors other than ability to do the job. She agrees and talks about her husband's experience dealing with this as well - says it's out of control.

In my division, 65% of the management is now female. Vs 30% just 10 years ago.

Most major population centers in the Barbie leaning states are blue to deep blue.

#blueanongE - never the brightest bulb in the box

Yeah, try that in a small town, Barbie.

I suppose, not really in to shitty country music, but #blueanongE has broken it all down.

Dax, I'm disappointed, I could forgive you if you are just saying you tend to get crap on your boots while listening to country music.  Are is it that you enjoy southern hick music so much that it has coulded your brain?

In a thread about how polling shows republicans aren't proud of America

waco_aggie053:32p
Hell, we now know our own govt was in on JFK, likely MLK, the NIH has actively worked against the best interest of our health, the FDA actively works against our health, War on drugs has decimated cities, war on poverty has proliferated it, likely didn't land on the moon, policies that destroyed the nuclear family, everything we were taught growing up was a damn lie. Point being its not a post covid thing that the govt started getting things wrong.

Don't get me wrong, I'm damn proud of those who served and died to protect us and uphold the American ideal but we have strayed so far and I guess its just now hitting me how long we've been off course.

I am looking forward to AI replacing Hollywood stars, writers and cartoonists. I'm a white male christian family man in the oil and gas business and Hollywood hates my guts. When Hollywood tries to eliminate my industry they told us oilfield guys to "learn to code" while grooming my grandchildren to be gay/trans.

Hollywood hates America and has done all they can destroy her. Adios Hollywood. You are being replaced by your hero's Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Sergy Brin, whoever runs Microsoft and my hero Elon Musk
