This has to stop. The censorship on here is unbelievable. If you speak from a conservative view, ie no open borders, discuss ukraine, US infrastructure, etc some liberal gets upset and gets people kicked off or the next door moderators just take you off.

The latest one was about the homeless, illegals ( someone says that is racist), socialism and the true reasons for the riots in France due to disenfranchised migrants unhappy with their current living situation and express the desire to make France a true islamic nation! This is ridiculous and no one allowed to express their point of view and or even share real world knowledge and experiences

NextDoor has "Leads" which are moderators. They also have a lower tier "Reviewer" that can vote for/against reported posts.

I can tell you as a NextDoor reviewer, if you start voting with a conservative mindset to not remove posts that liberals found offensive and reported....you will start receiving e-mails from NextDoor corporate explaining how you are wrong and that if you don't change your ways you will lose your Reviewer status.

NextDoor is also constantly trying to get me to take a "Racial Profiling" survey which I can only assume is their way of better determining which of their Leads/Reviewers are conservatives and giving them the proverbial black mark.

If you're wondering why I'm a NextDoor reviewer, I was apparently given that access for our local area by a fellow Aggie as he was passing away. He wanted someone to continue his conservative voice on the platform. I'll tell you though....it's tough to do that without getting the NextDoor version of a permaban.

Thank you for the explanation. I do not know of any conservatives who have asked someone to be kicked off. I just dont understand the blackballing over some convos that do NOT have racism, insults, etc. Why would talking about whats going on in France, why Dubai has no homeless compared to Austin, blah blah. I cant see any reason to be censoring and punishing people for such chatter. We are supposed to be a free country not North Korea BUT nextDoor is being like North Korea and must be stopped

The rage about recent supreme court decisions is a great example, particularly as some of that rage is being spearheaded by a former President from the decks of a yacht sailing the Mediterranean peering upon the villas and mansions of which many were financed by arms deals (that he approved) while sipping bottles of Guado Al Tasso and Gerard Bertrand with an A-List actor.  That my friends is truly choosing to be a victim.

Walk into the eye doctor to get my eyes examined today. Receptionist has "she/they" "pronouns" on their name tag.

WTF is wrong with people? And, WTF does that even mean?

I will refer to such people by whichever name they choose to use, but not a pronoun.

I will bite. On the surface you are correct, probably no impact.

However the receptionist who is most likely responsible for filing insurance claims, filing records, scheduling appointments etc is literally wearing what equates to a political sign.

This is someone that feels so strongly about their political position/mental illness that they brought into a professional setting. Now suppose a customer comes in wearing a MAGA hat, there is the potential the receptionist won't file the insurance correctly on purpose or create other issues for that customer. Because like you said they are a minor role at that company and probably do not care about the success of the company, or at least do not care more than their dedication to their political religion/mental illness.

Now is this far fetched? Maybe, maybe not. But the potential is there.

Words matter. Definitions matter. Introducing confusion into a professional setting, no matter how insignificant should matter.

OP.. I would ask them what this is? Then ask them to bring someone higher up over to explain why they want that ? Then after you cause a little stir up in that office tell them you won't be using them and just walk out … just like Bud light you have to make them pay for their idiocy
