oh eff yes. I'm going to have so much accumulated wealth and my grandchildren will inevitably be greedy pieces of crap and I'm just going to drop hints about where it's going or charities I'm going all in on and all that. then I'll do the right thing and leave it all to them in a trust that drips it out in tiny little baby amounts with 5,000 rules about if you get your little bit or not and really all of it is paying for the executor which is a full time job because of all the rules. go cats.

Here is my uninformed guess, Taylor told Bill that on this upcoming Monday they are going to announce the next head coach and that it would be preferable if that announcement was preceded by his retirement. Bill called Meyers and Meyers backed Taylor, Bill may have then tried to talk to some donors or board of regents but found no support. Now he is just waiting it out to the last minute in case the coach negotiations fall through and he can somehow slip into being the coach again for next year.

Meanwhile it sounds like Taylor has been plotting this for awhile and after an honest run at BV he settled on LittreLL who is a big 12 guy, successful head coach and a strong recruiting network. Providing that LittreLL can get good assistants, this seems like Taylor did a really good job navigating a tough issue for KSU. I hope it all comes together ASAP.
