LOL, the US will only use and deploy high tech mines that will deactivate after 30 days.

Translation, the rest of the world who will if the time comes deploy mines at will if the need arises completely ignoring the treaty entirely . . . doesn’t have that technology.  Thus they’ll be deploying mines that will pose a danger for decades to come.  But they’ll have signed a virtually meaningless document and LibDorks will feel better about themselves.

I think Dax is excited about this because it opens the door to using them at the border. Especially since shooting on sight was frowned upon.

So you guys only trust our military leaders if they’re saying OrangeMan bad things?  #stunned

Meanwhile other nations without the technology will likely continue to deploy old technology mines based on political will and against political opposition.

But they’ll have signed a piece of paper that has no oversight or enforcement of any kind.  Libs feel better about themselves, tho.

The country to our immediate South is a hell hole controlled by violent drug and avocado cartels overseen by a super corrupt government.

The poor cannot do anything to defend themselves against the corrupt government and the cartels.

It's not time for LibDerp Leadership in the house to set aside their 24/7/365 Trump Rage  :curse: :curse: :curse: and put together a comprehensive immigration and border security policy and plan.   Also the same body needs to call on sanctuary cities to quit harboring violent criminal aliens.

But alas 24/7/365 Trump  :curse: :curse: :curse: will rule.

Fleeing a lawless country where cartels are emboldened by a porous border.

Mexico puts the Military back on the streets for another 4 years, as the violence continues to ratchet up and up.

Meanwhile we have useful idiots far and wide continuing to tell us that we don't need to secure the border and that the United States needs to provide a countless number of programs to facilitate those that bring death and human trafficking to the border.

This will actually shed some light on things that you guys have been appalled by:  https://www.contralandmovie.com/

The first 20 min or so explains what's really been going on behind the scenes, rather than the spin you've gotten from MSDNC and CNN.

The last hour plus of it is like a bad episode of to catch a predator but the efforts to stop child trafficking at the border are something we desperately need.

If classes are online, why would they need to be in the United States?

Say, Da Big Psycho I know you're just a parrot boy who can't think for himself.   But do security agencies in countries across the globe have a growing concern about the true intentions of students (air quotes) from a certain country?    Are schools shutting down or looking to shut down certain institutes that are propping up from said country on college campuses?

Looking forward to your known answer, answer.

Is the value of an American education limited to what can be gleaned from in-person instruction? I don't think so. I would argue that the social aspects are just as, if not more important. The latter could still be done responsibly with proper distancing and masking. I don't like this policy one bit, as it seems punitive and mean-spirited.

Yeah I’d expect that to get challenged as arbitrary and capricious. They’ve got to have some reason other than “well we were only letting you in cause some of these classes weren’t online.” If it’s public health/corona related maybe that’s an excuse, but tough to square with how well the chief executive thinks we’re doing.

It seems weird to talking about the social aspects of college at a school that is only doing online classes.  Which would be exclusively driven by a health crisis which according to Rona Fear Porn Nation demands extreme social distancing, masking, and in many cases the outright cancellation of social gatherings of all sorts (except riots).

Do other nations grant student visas to Americans to travel there and only take online classes?   I'm not talking about some study abroad program which is essentially vacation with a few meetings.  I'm talking about actual academic regimen at a college or university.

Nothing says cultural assimilation like a Rona quarantine.

Let me know when they say they can't come when full time regular classes are in session.

Not sure what part of my statement you’re confused by, I’m not against it, they’ll just go to another country if they’re not allowed to come to the US.

You used the phrase "the US taking all the smart people from developing nations," and I took you literally hoping that you didn't actually mean that, we can move on from that post.

Certainly you can see the problem from the student's perspective, trying to get credits to transfer to universities from different countries, right? Certainly, you can see the problem from the country's perspective, losing all of those researchers, economists, mathematicians, etc., right?

I mean I care about how this effects the student's, but I care more about the fact that we're going to waste the time and resources the universities have invested in these students and our country is going to lose these bright minds, for literally no reason at all. I don't even blame trump, I blame all of the fucks advising him and the people who have the ability to speak up and change his mind, but who aren't doing so. He's doing this as an election ploy and it won't net him a solitary vote.
