does the USA go for top qualifier from CONCACAF on final match day @ Panama, if losing would mean Mexico stays home and doesn't even get a shot at NZ? If i were JuKl I would toss out any random kid (including some of these 12 yo wonder kids playing is Spain England and Germany right now) I ever wanted to cap into that team and let the chips fall where they might.

Seeded spot tho

Panama has played well this summer. If they beat Mexico on the 10th El Tri will be done anyway. Panama may go into that match looking for 3rd.

they aren't going to win in the azteca. I know mexico isn't who they have been and they have dropped a lot of points even at home this hex but no way with a wc ticket on the line will they lose to panama, draw could happen. do not see them losing. hope i am wrong tho

hey guys, low americansoccerIQ here, but what's the significance of dos a cero?  I mean obviously it means 2-0...did that score happen before?

I was going to ask somebody on twitter but I figured I'd ask my bros at goE instead.

the last three U.S.-Mexico qualifiers in Columbus all had that score, too.

JK will go for the win. Wish he wouldn't though.

I wonder if a gold medal team from the Olympics has ever failed to enter the proceeding world cup.

Not since East Germany in 1978

Radio guys love to talk about how the biggest obstacle to soccer in the US is "US soccer guy." I agree and think MIR would be an excellent alternative.

I would still slap the crap out of MiR if he ever called a pair of cleats "boots" in front of me.

One thing that really bothers me is when people call the field a "pitch."

People just don't get that some things are more Britishisms than they are soccer terms. Like, we're still Americans, you guys. We don't need to speak like British pieces of crap just because they like soccer more in their country....

Really though, my biggest pet peeve is when people exchange "is" for "are." Like "Sporting Kansas City are going to win." NO. If you're American, it's "Sporting Kansas City IS going to win." You sound like a Euro-snob if you talk like that.
