The weekend, my son had an awesome outside left foot touch on a ball he ran down. The goalie was closing fast and he dove as my son had his touch and the ball very slowly rolled by the goalie and into the goal from about 10 meters. My son did the Harper eat'n soup thing. I told him to knock it off but it was pretty awesome.

(Is that Non-Racist American Soccery enough? I don't know the ethnicity of the goalie, but my son is Caucasian.)

He probably didn't hear me. I only said knock it off because the coach and some of the parents told the kids to tone down some of the celebrations. You guys know me. You know inside I was very proud of him and the entire point of my post was a fanningbrag, right? Has this blog came to a point in its life that the bloggers have to call out their fanningbrags? I never thought that day would come.

The Zusi goal was one of my favorite moments I've witnessed live at Sporting Park. (By far, the EJ missed PK to give us the USOC trophy is number one)

He is a 5th grader, making it fail the cute stage and blow right into the bad ass boss stage.

made sure i didn't post in here with any emotions about our absolutely crap opponent Jamaica. Zusi is a straight up game changer will be a superstar moving forward. We have some real talent that are real close to being some dangerous players. KC was rocking as usual. I think it is time we designate 3-4 home stadiums and they are exclusively used for every non-friendly games.
