We've been over 100 just one day this summer. Still hitting mid 90s w/ high humidity almost every day.
Won't complain too much. Two years ago, we were in the middle of a solid week of 103+ temps -- it was absolutely miserable.

I guess I just hate winter more than most. Like, i played golf the other day when it was like 110 heat index. It was rough, but I just grabbed shade when I could and hydrated. I don't know what the winter equivalent of 110 is, but I know that if you go outside for 3 hours, A) you will die, and B) it will be dark outside. Winter sucks ass.

See there's where I disagree. I was at the pool yesterday and after about 90 minutes even with the water it's like "welp, gotta get out of this oppressive sun."

I was rereading this thread and one of Dlew's talking points is he doesn't like hoodies and layers. I mean is he on a really bad drug or something?

When it gets to be hot and muggy as hell in NYC I like to tell myself I'm on vacation on a tropical island and it actually feels kind of special instead of bad. At one point this summer I told someone this philosophy and my wife asked me if I was familiar with the term "toxic positivity".
