Bad weather doesn't matter much in Kansas anyway, the only necessary outside time is the time between your car in the parking lot and the building you're going into
That's a good point..In Chicago bad weather is something most people have to actually confront and walk around in. I remember when I was staying at your old old place, I'd wake up, see it was a -17 wind chill outside, and be crushed knowing that I had to walk half a mile to the train. Chicago winters are for the birds, man. Also, the sun sets at what feels like 3:30 pm - which starts to become VERY depressing.
The bad weather in Kansas only sucks because you can't do the great things that you can do when it's hot out.
