Someone K-State media adjacent snidely dismisses “the olds” when discussing ESPN+ and it genuinely pissed me off.

That's gotta be John Kurtz, and he even isn't as young as he thinks he is.

Wasn’t he on Kurtz’s show in Manhattan for a couple years and now on sports radio in a Wichita? I would call anyone covering general sports in Kansas, which would including regularly discussing K-State, K-State adjacent.

He's an alum who has his own show on AM drive time in the largest city in the state.

Do you burn extra calories from wearing an iPad on your wrist?

yeah the sign of getting old is wearing that rough ridin' thing, not the thirty minute walk

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

I can't find the posts, but remember when my high BP was about to make my heart burst into a million pieces? Today at the Doctors office I was like 130 over 80. 6'4", 208, and calm as a cucumber. I was there for a follow up visit due to my high cholesterol 6 months ago. Hoping that comes back kicking ass as well!  :excited:

Trick is: 4-5 miles a day (run/walking), 50-100 push ups and 300-600 sit ups a day (Monday-Friday). Eating healthy most of the time. Gave up heaters 2 years ago. Vodka and Dt. tonic when playing.

Great work Wacky!. Thats a lot of sit ups. Make sure your form is solid so you don't jack up your back and then post here about how you hurt your back doing sit ups.

 I do have one of those ab balls, so there's less tension on the back. Great advice, though!

You could easily do this, turd. 2-3 miles run/walk in the morning. 150 reps on the ab ball split between forward and sideways routine. Same when you have a break in the afternoon. 100 push ups in intervals.

Is there any specific reason you do 300-600 daily situps?

Intervals. 2-3 miles in the morning. 15 push ups, 100 sit ups, 15 push ups, 100 sit ups, 10 push ups, 100 sit ups, and then 10 push ups.

About 15 years ago (I think) my gallbladder stopped functioning.  No stones, just stopped functioning.  After meals, I would get a pretty intense belly ache and nausea.  It was rough for a bit.

The function test sucked.  They basically do a test to activate the gallbladder.  If it doesn't activate, you have your symptoms.  When they did it, of course, I had the symptoms.  When the nurse came in, I had tears in my eyes, and she said "I think we found the problem." I said, "no crap."

The surgery is super easy.  Outpatient laproscope.  Sore belly for a few days, and watch the tiny incisions for infection.  I had mine out on a Thursday, back to work on Monday.
Do you remember if that function test was called a HIDA scan?

Watched a TV show where people had to get dinner reservations “early” at 6:30. When they got to the restaurant it was full of people in their 60s & 70s. I think 6:30-6:46 is the perfect dinner reservation time.
