I am curious if coins get a pop when they are added to Coinbase? I’ve been taking a look at the value history of coins as they have been added and it seems like they do

Coinbase seems to announce newly added coins on Twitter. I wonder if it would be good to buy them immediately after they are added? I suppose the ideal situation (if it’s true there is a pop from Coinbase) is to buy something BEFORE it is added to Coinbase, using a different exchange

yeah, you should try that and let me know. like stocks getting added to the s&p and all those mutual funds and ETFs having to allocate

100% of it. In fact, my entire SOL stake is pure BTC profit.

What happens to BTC when the NYSE has BTC futures trading funds....and then WTF happens when the NYSE has funds that invest in BTC directly? I wonder how much of that optimism is baked into the current price? None, Some, a Ton?

I got a B in both Corporate Finance and Applied Portfolio Management in grad school, but I think it means the rough rider will go up quite a bit if NYSE BTC funds of either variety are approved.

The problem with that analysis is the markets at large are still highly unregulated and short term things like China “banning” btc can make the entire market tumble. It certainly makes it bullish long term though.

I think any kind of formal regulation gets announced and it rips. I don’t think that’s a unique thought obviously, I think everyone thinks that. And it will be regulated. There are too many wealthy individuals and corporations that have their fingers in it now to “ban”. Only one way forward IMO.

Senators own it. Hedge funds own it. Corporations own it. It ain’t getting banned.
