Bloodbath today.  Maybe it was the big cats pulling out of crypto and into stonks on the debt limit news or something.  Maybe we just need to question what we are doing with our lives, guys.
Pete, maybe crypto is not for you if this is a bloodbath

Pete, massive crypto moon shots overnight (comments adjusted for Pete risk tolerance)!

Yeah, the BTC and ETH were comforting, especially with my son's mining of tens of dollars a month of ETH.  I don't currently own any SOL, but maybe I should.  My son has his eyes on mining Ravencoin next, so we'll see.

At this point I just need someone to buy sell for me. I'm in on this asset but I'm too lazy to keep track of all of them.

Bingo.
Also going back to Pete's hilarious comment remember probably 8 years ago or so when there could be 100% rises or falls

also this is purely speculation but November has historically been a terrible month for BTC. Could we see a massive dive and time to buy the dip?

I don't buy and sell frequently mostly because I'm not willing to put in enough money that way to get a return that I care about. I'd rather wait for years for BTC to go WAY down, buy as much as I can stomach in hopes of getting a 10x return, and then wait for years for it to go way back up.

I have my long term stuff that isn't moving for decades and I have the stuff that I will occasionally trade and buy/sell.  So you can do both.

In my defense a 30% loss would be a bloodbath in any other investment context.   :cyclist:  But yeah, this is a new game for sure.

Yeah, my crypto portfolio is around $800 total.  So, for me this is all just nonsense money, and anything "long term" is an S&P 500 index fund (90%) or Bond Index fund (10%).

It's down 1% on the year, which is fine if the SP keeps it's head up.

Damnit, steve dave has now cost me almost $1,000 dollars today on this lark alone. Good thing my shoes are all on-point and I don't need any new pairs, sheesh.
