Eth has been outperforming btc for a couple years now though. I read something the other day that compared 30k invested in btc vs 30k in eth in early 2020. Eth would now be worth a million and btc would be like 600k.

This is true, certainly needed after losing so much net worth compared to BTC

I just don’t see btc catching back up though and reversing what has gone on the last two years. Defi seems like the future. Btc will be a huge part in it etc but growth seems to lie in other places. Btc seems like a safe ok annual rate of return thing. Am I wrong? I mean I kind of assume I might be but I also kind of think I’m right.

Yay this will be fun. We can be matic/polygon bros together. It currently still accumulating after its retracement following a moon shot last week. Formed a bullish flag though and we should have another take off within the week. <- elite crypto lingo was used in this post*
Damnit, now I am kicking myself for not putting big money in this thing. Rick daris, thank you for your work ITT.

You think DeFi and L2 scaling fixes are gambling? I mean we are talking about actual businesses with actual business contracts here and not doge or moonrocketsafecoin. If anything, I would argue that btc people are the ones who are currently gambling. Matic is going to be used on every import into Egypt starting in July for example.

Hadn’t looked into what Polygon does, that’s very useful.

it was .72 thursday and then 1.06 saturday and then everything just flash dropped an hour ago and it was all the way back down to .78 for five minutes. now an hour later and it's back up to .88 and climbing. i don't think it will really get much/any less than it is right now but anything could happen.

that's great. also, current cryptos kind of remind me of cc churning and miles/points fifteen years ago. tons of hustles, half secrets and money to be made everywhere.
