Right now it's still just a financial issue, because people are being scammed out of their BTC. These "give away" or matching tactics are a pretty common crypto scam that scams people who don't know any better out of BTC. A hacker is using some vulnerability to post from verified accounts en mass to a crap load of people by bypassing 2 factor authentication. It's just financial now but what if they post from a ranking official or Trump's account about some political/economic thing or announcing we are going to nuke North Korea? I mean this is bad.
