These "give away" or matching tactics are a pretty common crypto scam that scams people who don't know any better out of BTC. However, this is a giant security risk in general because most of these accounts that are posting this stuff had 2 factor authentication on. A hacker is using some vulnerability to post from verified accounts en mass to a crap load of people by bypassing 2 factor authentication. It's just financial now but what if they post from a ranking official or Trump's account about some political/economic thing or announcing we are going to nuke North Korea? I mean this is bad.
I did my taxes last night and the algorithm asked if I sold any bitcoin because the government wants to know and I'm like none of your business government but also I didn't sell any so I answered truthfully
I'm damn near in the black for the first time in almost a year!
