A 200 week rolling average on something that has been around for 500 weeks is a really favorable selection to make your data fit a story

This is true. What’s also true is nobody really knows what will happen. That’s what makes it fun!

Just some stuff to think over guys. As always do your own research but the time leading up to the next halving has always shown a rise in price. You might say yeah but the price is way down from ATH, well the rise follows a logarithmic scale.

Also the next LiteCoin halving is this summer. :Chirp:

i've met a few guys who people thought of as "crypto experts". i think they were just lucky and got in early. like one guy even said he accidentally got lucky with crypto but now some local crypto guys put a halo on him and think he's a genius. i myself got burned a few times because i made the mistake of following the advice of "crypto experts". nobody really knows anything at least price-wise.

I get my info from a ton of different sources and from people with vastly different ideas and opinions. I make my own conclusion, and I always preface anything I saw here with “do your own research”.

On the technical side tho I do consider myself an expert.

Yeah how blockchains work and the public key cryptography behind it. All the nerdy stuff.

You posted this as some slight on crypto.  The honest crypto’s proved before this article that Quadriga was lying.  The system worked as it should and proves this was a negligent company, this has nothing to do with crypto being a bad system.  I’ve said privately this is a win for crypto since this thing came out, the system worked as designed and proved the blockchain doesn’t lie.

Things should start getting popular again soon, guys.  I'll probably start posting more stuff more often again.  I know the technical without the price jump isn't as fun/interesting to most, but the infrastructure that's been built will help support the next run.

Also if you remember me posting about the conference I'm going to in NYC that's coming up in a few months.  Well...IT'S A CRYPTO CONFERENCE!  Can't wait!!

I run several full nodes for a couple different cryptos and tonight was upgrade night.  I'm thinking about writing an automatic updater that has a configurable time frame.  I'm a stickler for stable releases for this kind of stuff, and usually I give 3 months after a stable release before I upgrade, I was a little behind this cycle.  Obviously the bug last fall was a no-brainer to upgrade immediately but if you run multiple nodes there's got to be an easier way.  Maybe there is, I just haven't looked that hard yet.
