Maybe it's just because I'm in a sour mood because of this Coinbase collapse or I finally digested wetwillie's post about giving this all away for free. I've thought this several times, then I get a PM about crypto and resume my spirit, but it's almost like I'm talking to myself. Leaning strongly to relegating all this crypto stuff to Reddit and only doing long posts there and not reactions.

~3.5 years and only 20 total posts, yet one of those is a trying to get me to continue posting posts. I KNOW people who don't post much(if at all) have benefited from my posting crypto stuff. HOWEVER, I am the only technical analysis of this industry ITT. My frustration is I learn absolutely nothing that I already know from this board.

The benefit to posting ITT(for me) is 0 additional trading strategies, 0 reasons to hold onto coins, 0 reasons to invest in another startup coin(other than knowing the name).

I post about an open forum to talk about this stuff, no responses.

I mean, I'm sorry guys, but for what I have given in advice, do I get nothing in return?

At least in the CC thread SD can post a referral link(which he does).

When it comes time to cash out, how do you "sell" your currency and get the proceeds into your bank account? I assume it is like stock where you sell and and the proceeds less an administrative fee are transferred.

Coinbase is the exchange most people use. You sell your coins for USD and then have that USD available instantly that you can hold in the exchange or transfer to your bank account. Gdax is the trading platform of Coinbase and is the most efficient way to actively trade the major crypto coins.

From reading articles, it sounds like the bitcoin mining deal is like playing the lottery. Any of you guys have any experience with it? Sounds like a setup costs around $2k or so.
