Pretty impressive for the #84 market cap coin to be in the top 20 by volume.  Says a lot.

So does gdax have about every cryptocurrency that's available on its platform?

It's owned by CoinBase and just has BTC, ETH, and LTC just like the CoinBase app.  They have said they may add more in the future but they are only going to add coins they see as being around for the long haul.  You can use other exchanges or these two sites if you want to get other coins.

These are super low volumes on BTC, ETH, and LTC. Maybe I'll get my open orders filled that have been open for a week :excited:

First time ever I've clicked on a search result from Quora. I don't believe we have an aftermarket thread!

Since Coinbase is still a private company (it's not trading on the stock market), you will only be able to invest via the secondary market. While the secondary market is still a nascent and growing market, there are some platforms that facilitate private investments.

That and the massive amount of new customers the last few months.  Employees also have the option to be paid in BTC.  Imagine some of their employees who took that option :sdeek:

so there's a handful of coins that have a shot at becoming a real life currency, and the dozens of others are created purely for the purpose of market speculation and probably never even intended to make it as anything else.

So can the average jerkoff do this atomic swap or is it just for the elites?

Right now it's just the elites. It's all using command line tools and requires 2 transactions on both chains. If I'm not mistaken this is the first LTC <--> BTC atomic swap. :D

This stupid rough ridin' concurrency between all 3 cryptos on GDAX is really starting to piss me off.

Who the eff would even want to trade on here anymore?  They don’t follow their own drum line, they just follow whatever the eff BTC is doing.  Which I mean I invested in BTC during the low $300’s but eff this is so stupid they all follow it.

Broken record here but LTC should be so much higher and rough ridin' china.....CHINA and their currency manipulating ways.  Ugh
