i don't know much about these cryptos but it seems like now is a good time to buy some LTC? Am I right on this or should I wait to see how extensive this news out of China is?

For a long term play I would wait until these spikes settle a bit.  You don't want to panic buy or sell in these markets.  Do you have everything set up with CoinBase or your exchange of choice?

I have CoinBase set up but GDAX keeps trying to access a webcam (which I don't have at work) so I'll have to wait until I get home to do that. The fee structure's better on GDAX, right?

Hmm, idk why it's trying to access a camera, never had that.  Yeah if you want to avoid fees use GDAX.  They use a maker-taker order structure.  They have some help guides on the fee structures but if you place limit maker orders and make sure the post only option is set you can trade fee free.  Market orders are considered taker orders but are still charged less fees than just using CoinBase.

Also GDAX is very mobile friendly and I just use my phone for trading while I'm at work.

Yeah I'm trying the phone workaround right now. Pretty sure the camera thing is for ID verification purposes.

Coinbase had me take a pic of my ID and jump through some hoops to buy initially, but has been super easy to use since.

Yeah I uploaded my driver's license and GDAX put me through.

Now just gotta time my buys right I guess
