Not sure what each count is, but that doesn't add up to a bagillion dollars.  So for what the Sandy Hook folks had to go through due to his bullshit, this seems radically light.

Is this held in one of the jurisdictions that limits punitive damages?  Isn't that a thing?  Where they take crazy high numbers, tell everyone they are cute, then top out at like $170k or something?

Most likely, and while I'm sure the money is not really important to those parents, cause they'd want their children back in a heartbeat, but I'm sure bringing some amount of justice for his actions is at least something.
