daughter's bday coming up (11 yo), thought about taking her and a couple friends to great wolf lodge, great or terrible idea (never stayed there before)?

depends what you expect.
Yeah, this is a better answer

We’ve had cousins birthdays at gwl to swim and they’ve been great. Usually Sunday to Monday when kids don’t have school

All episodes are great. But Grannies is the best. My family routinely say “I slipped on my beans” every time someone drops something and “nice parking spot Rita” every time I park.

I'm officially addicted to Bluey. I have to watch several episodes every night to relax. "Fruit Bat" is current favorite ep. Just impossibly cute.

I got lucky and I don't think any of my three were prone to meltdowns as toddlers. However, I have a 14 year old who loves a good meltdown and I think I'd rather she got them out of her system when she was 2.

Never had to leave anywhere because we couldn't get them to chill. Not sure I'm loving the trade-off right now though. The moody teen girl bit is really exhausting.

It's a rough ride while those hormones go nuts. They start to chill in a couple minutes. I'm really close to my 18 year old now. 22 year old still extremely independent but not quite so moody.

Lil nicname is 2.5 and absolutely hates the happy birthday song. Whenever he hears it he immediately becomes irate/cries.

Noticed it after a few birthday parties.

Had to see for sure the other night. Said to mrs nicname, “watch this,” and started singing it to him. He covered his ears, made a sour face and almost fell on the floor whining. He plays it up, but it really bothers him.

He’s recently developed a disdain for sharing, at least with his food. We (mrs nicname, nicname Jr and me) also like to tease him about this. We see him eating strawberries or whatever and say “oh, share lil nicname?”

And he says “no share!!” Sometimes he gets real gravelly-voiced when he says it and it’s very .

He also loves football and lately he’s taken a liking to running with the football and also tackling, but what he does is he just runs at you and tackles you whether he has the ball of you do. It’s like a little bowling ball ramming into your legs.

He’s real forceful about it too. Like, we’ll be watching the cats and he’ll be like “daddy,” and he’ll pay the ground like, “come down here and play ball.” He won’t even play catch, just wants to tackle. Tackle, but also help up. He grunts when he helps you up.

He also likes to leave flavor ice type popsicle wrappers all over the house, and walks around saying “popsieekoh! yellow” or whatever color it is.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.
