I kind of want to have a third kid.  Remember how awesome you thought life was in college and right after, when you had little to no responsibilities?  And then you had kids and realized that yes life was awesome back then, but it's way better now.

Oh man, SD, what are you going to do when you go on vacation? You are going to have to get a 3 bedroom suite every time.

Just had a third.  Really, really hard.  Like much harder than going from one kid to two.

But, yeah, it's still great.

Congrats, SD.  Good vibes coming your way for the health of your wife and new baby.

After the third kid, you find out what kind of parent and (if applicable) partner you are.  Two -> Three is very difficult.  I imagine if you have multiple wives this probably doesn't apply to you.

Two kids and one wife and I already know that I am a pretty great dad and husband.

Quick learning curve.

Baby boomers are probably the worst generation of parents in our county's history.

The baby boomers didn't have a ton of kids. They were the kids. The "greatest generation" is the one that had all of the kids and didn't parent them for crap.

Just watched a bunch of old 8mm of my parents from way way back in the day- prior to dobber. Lots of parties. Most of my aunts and uncles drank more than me probably! Great parents of shitloads of kids.

This seems pretty obvious and why I would never have 3

Good luck with that.  Putting the kids in the same room sucks.  One always wakes up the other and so on and so on till everyone is exhausted and crying.
