You should get a bunch of the usual Townie naysayers who hate change, want MHK to continue to look like a "small town" and don't want any progress. The comments on the FB post about the Aggieville concepts are so typical.
While I don't care for some of the building design, I can't help but laugh at the people who prefer that the most visible corridor into campus continue to be lined with a bunch of old, decrepit slum lord houses, with noted exceptions. Gentrification in doses is good and is much needed along that route. Some day, okay, never, the "hate everything" townies will come to their senses and realize that K-State must continue to draw on people and money from all over the world and those people don't want to engage in an area that comes across like it gives no effs (in some regards), but will happily take tens of thousands of dollars of your money in the process. That's not the way the world works.
