So political contacts don't talk to political contacts?

And then get fired over it? Sure! Happens all of the time!

First off, what a novel concept. Firing a guy.  But it's cute that you actually believe that the Michael Flynn's of the world aren't talking to people all around the world all the time.

Why did Flynn get fired for doing something that is done all the time?

He got fired because he didn't disclose it to Pence.

Why didn't he disclose it to Pence when it was merely something that is done all the time?

When you go to work in the executive branch you have to disclose this stuff.

Enough with the Geo-Politics 001 stuff.

Why didn't Flynn follow Geo-Politics 001?

He did, but failed his due diligence test once he became part of the executive branch.  This is not hard.

Given your bent it would appear that you have and will give no thought or credence to any candidate with foreign policy experience (which walks hand in hand with contact).   Further, we can say your preferred candidate(s) and staff would have been practicing a form of quarantine or an extreme level of international isolationism with zero interfacing with foreign entities.

Fascinating concept chum.  Will thank about it.

Strange, I thought I covered that (again) about 10 posts back.

First of all let's take note of this chum (I mean, by implication you don't think this exists)  from AP: Once out of government, he disappeared into the murky world of mid-level defense contractors and international influence peddlers.    Weird reporting by AP for a culture that according to chum, doesn't exist.

It took 18 days to fire Flynn (nanoseconds in DC parlance, but entire millenniums according to the New McCarthyites like Chum et. al.  Relative to previous administrations 18 days is light speed).

Looks like the official reason given by the White House was a "loss of trust".    Again, firing, really new territory here relative to recent administrations.

Dax is right. We've really never seen an effective and efficient administration like Trump before. Really pushing policy and getting things done at light speed.

It's almost as if making a guy who was fired as a general a part of the executive branch wasn't a great idea.

Yep, if one thing history has shown is that generals get fired purely for military performance reasons and never for political or personal agenda reasons.

The humor is in the revelation that the Russians assessed the candidates and chose Trump as their preference.

Yeah. I doubt he would have won if the Democratic party would have had a legitimate process to select their candidate rather than doing everything within their power to ensure that Hillary ended up being their nominee, though.

Thing is, despite desperate Dems getting worked up about every little thing.  Trump has not been friendly with Russia at all.

The dude essentially threatened the only thing that keeps the Russian economy afloat.

No way a Dem knuckling under to the climate warriors espouses US energy dominance.  US energy dominance directly undermines Putin and the entire Russian regime.
