I just looked this up but Houston finished tied for 3rd in in the AAC West.  Actually, they are tied with Memphis so 4th.  In a 6 team division.

In my opinion, they won't regret anything that has anything to do with money.  They want to win.  That's it.  He either wins league championships and/or gets into the playoff or he doesn't.  That is all that they care about.

Yes.  Time is the more valuable currency for the horns.  Another 3 years of mediocrity and embarrassment would be much more devastating to them than any amount of money lost.  They desperately need to be relevant again, no matter the cost.
