I'm skeptical of this rumor because why wouldn't they just wait to pay people until the rally is over? That there are ALWAYS people leaving mid-rally is a little suspicious, though. Probably the best one I can think of is that they go in not expecting him to suck. Then, when they see him, they think he sucks.
