Makes total sense because Americans are demanding to live in the deserts of Nevada and Utah not near the economic opportunities in large blue cities and states in the US.

Totally. Lets live in a desert where its 120 degrees, little water, and no infrastructure aside from the shitty stuff the Fed Govt (wait, do they like the Fed Govt now?) have put in place. I'm sure the healthcare will be awesome there for all of the handmaids living there and producing all those worker bee babies. It doesn't sound like a cult or anything at all.
