So what do you guys think - have the SNL post-election Trump parodies been funny or not?

Last week's had some funny parts.

Yesterday, pretty terrible.

Thoughts? I was hoping for better overall.

I think Baldwin does a very good Trump. Feels like these could be funnier but the liberal butthurt is just too apparent.

Like I said, truth is stranger than reality right now. It's hard for writers to take it to higher levels. I think they will get their feet under them as long as he keeps re-tweeting 16 year olds

SNL has definitely been showing their liberal for quite some time now. That Pete Davidson is a butthurt little b. I've enjoyed the sketches, but Saturdays was awful.

I consider myself a #SNL connoisseur. I watch every week. I don't ever remember it being this bad. It's fine tho, it is what it is. I mean, after Trump won, they opened up with Hillary singing a goodbye song to "hallelujah" and the character looked like she wanted to cry when it was over. It was super weird and not even close to trying to be funny. It was a message SNL wanted to send out.

Do you think they would have done that if Cruz, Rubio, Kasich, or Jeb had been elected? I'm thinking that they just don't view Trump as a normal Republican/conservative - that it goes beyond usual politics.
