I read a Washington Post article today that said in a KY county that Trump won in the 80% range, 60% of them are on Obamacare. And they are overwhelmingly hoping he doesn't repeal it.
The TL;DR version was that they knew he said that he wanted to repeal Obamacare, but they didn't think he could actually do it because it was the law. None of these people knew how laws were actually made, repealed, modified.
I mean, really, this is what we're working with here...
"He said he'd build a wall, but he won't actually do it."
"He said they'd repeal Obamacare, but he actually won't do it."
"He said he'd ban Muslims, but he was just saying that."
"He said they wouldn't mess with Social Security and Medicare, but Paul Ryan actually had that teed up and ready to roll."
The last one was my addition, but these people are about to get so Catfished, it's not even funny. And when all of those mining jobs and manufacturing jobs don't come back, and it actually gets worse because the Republicans are going to go as far as they can to abolish unions, that Rust Belt opioid crisis is going to keep escalating because there will really be no hope left for these people.
