If dax is giving up, there isn't much hope for anyone else trying to retroactively rationalize their votes for Drumpf.

Pretty much agree here. He'll watch, polish up his points, study the field, and be back with a vengeance when the time suits him.
That being said, him, like many others (including myself sometimes) should detach themselves from pit, and the cesspool of politics and general, even if only for a bit, once in a while for a spell in order to regain bearings on life and what's truly important, and not feel the need to constantly battle people online over things we (mostly) have little or no control over. I hope the time away does good for him, no gEing here.
