Dlew do you think demand for abortion is going to go down if abortion was illegal in all forms in all states?

If abortion was illegal in all states, including medical abortions, the number of abortions performed would go down, in my opinion.

What would happen to the children of the delta in unwanted pregnancies that don't result in abortion?
They would live.

It's legit tough to believe you GAF about the lives of these unwanted children when you respond this way.

A few pages back JW offered prayers, and to do some community  outreach volunteer work with his church if that helps?

I've argued here on this site in favor of a universal healthcare system if it is modeled after Singapore's and also in favor of a universal basic income, but carry on with your schtick.

I've always been and always will be a believer that reducing the demand for abortion is the best overall solution. A lot of that is birth control, but some of it is what organizations like birthright do.  If you are staunchly anti abortion and are actively working with orgs like that and/ fostering kids I have the ultimate respect for that. It's walking the walk. The Jesus of the Bible I've read wouldn't be holding abortion is murder signs outside of a clinic, that much I'm sure of.

I’ve never heard of Birthright but it looks like they do good work that I’d definitely support.  It looks like it’s very similar to LetThemLive, which is an organization I really like.

We do not foster yet, but it is something we have discussed and have mostly decided it is something we would like to pursue once our children are grown. I guess it seems like a copout, but with four kids at home, we do not think it is something to pursue yet.

When we lived in Manhattan, our church did a lot of work with and supported Life Choice Ministries which runs the pregnancy crisis center on Anderson. It is an organization that is devoted to trying to help women avoid abortion, but it also offers some material help and I know we always had a list of resources the center needed donated. I also know the center says it offers post-abortion support as well, and I never got the sense that support was of the kind that would be condemning.

We go to church in Chanute now and I know there are always resources, e.g. food, available to mothers that need it. There is a number of a person at our church they can contact and arrange to receive help.

I have a cousin that has twice given birth as a young, single mom. The first one she gave up for adoption and it kind of broke our hearts that she did that. I don't mean that in a blaming way towards her, but when we found out we wished we had offered to adopt her kid ourselves. The second time we were prepared to adopt the child if she was not going to be able to keep it. We never said anything to her and she decided she would keep the baby, but we had definitely made up our minds to adopt the baby.

HAAAAAAAA! This has to be the top 5 dumbest thing he's ever announced. "hey, uh, make it look like Iran did it". I mean he's probably still pretty safe since any country that isn't ran by people dumber than him knows him being president is way better for US enemies than him not being president.

Who knows, but what harm could possibly come from having the most powerful government in the world pushing Christianity?

I bet Biden would have had like 4 houses if he knew he could openly make money from being president.
